Ted and His Three Biker Chicks
That's Ted on the right, Cindy taking a try at the KTM 530, Lexi on her "Energizer" TTR-90, and then Téa perched next to her trusty Honda 50. We left Coop at home so that he could attend a classmate's birthday bash. The day went awesome. Got to do a little sleeping in compared to the normal weekday, packed up, grabbed some grease at McD's, and headed North of Silver Creek Plunge with the goal of riding to Rice Peak. The air was cool and clean, the soil was moist, there was a slight drizzle and the forest was quiet; it was perfect! The girls rode like mini-pros and we enjoyed the sometimes slick terrain for hours. Some of Ted's friends had ridden with us for about the first eight miles and then headed back. They treated us with some delicious hot chocolate at their campsite upon our return. Then we headed over to the "plunge" for a relaxing dip in the hot springs. On the way home we dined in Crouch since it was already 8:00p.m. by the time we got there and we walked through our front door at about 9:30. It was a full of fun day - all thanks to Jesus!
