This wasn't really planned, but since Ted sold his bike and he came into some sweet deals on these used bikes just days before Christmas, we took the opportunity to have fun putting them under the tree. In other words, this isn't a normal Christmas occurrence, it was a once in a lifetime thing, although it sure would be a fun tradition! Ooh, ooh, pick me next! The girls were surprised, but of course with the white Christmas we have had up until the last few days, there has been no opportunity for the girls to test drive them yet.
For those of you interested in the specs, the shorter one is a KTM 50 Jr. Adventure for Téa and the larger one is a KTM 65 that's tricked out with a Rekluse clutch and a personalized number plate - her nickname is MO and it says Mo's above the numbers.We did enjoy a wonderful Christmas season with friends and family. We spent Christmas day in Star with all of my family and have enjoyed spending time with friends since then. We thank Jesus for His sacrifice and for His faithfulness that we are reminded of this season. Did you know that He gave up His spot in heaven to come to earth, only to suffer humiliation, ridicule, and eventually death on the cross for us! It is so humbling to think that He did that for us and we have done nothing to deserve it, nor do we have to - it's a free gift! All we have to do is believe, have faith in Him. This year, my goal is to be faithful and grateful for all things and give Him the glory for saving me. I hope you all have a wonderful year in 2009!
